Negative Statements

Negative Statements:
will not have been + verb-ing
Example:
Don’t worry. The movie starts at 7:00, and we should get to the theater at
about 7:05, so the movie won’t have been playing very long when
we get there. We won’t have missed much.
(It’s hard to think of good examples for future perfect progressive! Like I
said, we don’t use it very much. I hope one example is enough. If
you can think of some good examples of negative future perfect
progressive, please e-mail me and I may include them in the
website.)
